KINOPOISK Х INCITY: A CAPSULE COLLECTION OF CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES

PUNK FASHION COLLABORATION
For the opening of the "Punk Culture. Korol I Shut" exhibition, Plus Studio released a licensed collection of clothing and accessories: t-shirts, sweatshirts, badges, mediators, and much more.
The line was designed by Plus Studio's creative group in conjunction with Planet9. Work on the collection began with the filming of the Korol I Shut TV series. First, the identity elements such as the logo and fonts were created.
Anna Sovetnikova, brand content development manager at Plus Studio:
"Before starting, we carried out surveys among Korol I Shut fans to establish what the identity elements in our collection should look like and how to reinterpret the well-known logo while also bringing in a 'new sound' that would be attractive to the younger audience. We learned that the band has a huge legacy, which meant that we had to preserve the authentic fantasy writing while taking a fresh approach to the iconic identity. This was quite a challenging task because Korol I Shut fans are a very demanding and loyal audience."
For the most part, the clothing line consists of apparel such as a raincoats, T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, and caps. The accessories include bags, mediators, and socks as well as products that reflect the DIY punk philosophy: pens, a sketchbook for drawing, patches, badges, posters, and sticker packs. In addition, the collection includes sweets — the "Punk's not dead" drops.
The collection was presented in the merch shop at the exhibition. Some of the products also appeared in the punk shop on Yandex Market and, for the first time, in a special widget directly on the Korol I Shut TV series page on Kinopoisk.
Conceptually, the collection is divided into two parts, just like the "Punk Culture. Korol I Shut" exhibition. One part is inspired by the punk icons Sid Vicious and Vivienne Westwood and contains recognizable elements: chequered patterns, pins, and the slogans "Punk's not dead" and "Sex" (the latter is the name of Vivienne Westwood's legendary punk shop). This style represents a culture that breaks through time and generations, much like a newspaper, leaving a lasting mark in history for years to come.
The other part of the collection refers to Korol I Shut songs, images of musicians, and the TV series of the same name. For example, it includes a Korol I Shut t-shirt that appeared in one of the episodes during the band's concert.
